Kluang Mall Is Now Open!

Kluang town get fueled up by the all new Pacific Kluang Mall at Jalan Rambutan. It was launch on 24 December 08, just before christmas eve. Pacific Hypermarket & Departmental Store Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in Malaysia on 27 September 1995. The company is principally involved in hypermarket and departmental store business with investment holdings.

If previously people in Kluang have to spend far away in Johor Bahru and Batu Pahat, then now they can shop in Kluang Mall. This shopping mall gives a comfortable and relaxed shopping surroundings; it is an ideal place for shopping, dining, leisure and amusement activities.

Lets see what is the main attractions of Kluang Mall.

Pizza Hut, Laksa Shack, Roibo, Big Apple Donuts & Coffee, Secret Receipe, Pacific Hyper Market, Sox World, Zenxin Organic Food, & Hotlink.

Seems like not much shops were open just yet. I bet they’ll finish the decoration before Chinese New Year Eve!

Another unique features in Ayer Hitam is sales women or we called them nyonya sayur selling vegetables. I’m pretty sure you’ll never find this in other places. There were about 5 or 6 of them walking around the busy area of this town with packs of vegetables on both hands.

You can get a packet of tomatoes for RM2, or you might want to have 3 packets for for RM5! Great deal isn’t it? They normally choose good vegetables before packaging them. This to make sure the quality of what they sells fresh. They’ve been selling for more then 20 years. I’ve seen them since I was a little.

Ayer Hitam Motocross Circuit.

First day of Johor Motocross Master 08 in Ayer Hitam. This is the second year Ayer Hitam becoming host of this event.

Bigger turnout expected this year in Ayer Hitam. The number of competitors have also increased this year with 136 riders from all over the country having confirmed their entries.

The existing 1.8km track has become very popular with motorcross enthusiasts from all over the country since it was opened a year ago.

The track is not only suitable for motorcross and cubcross racing but also for all terrain vehicles (ATVs) and mountain bike racing.

Slightly less than an hour by car north of Johor Bahru, along the North-South Highway, is Ayer Hitam. This is a transit town popular with travelers for its numerous roadside stalls hawking an array of knick-knacks, ceramic wares and local tidbits like prawn crackers, tapioca chips, steamed corn, etc. There are also several traditional coffee shops offering light snacks and refreshments. Close to the town is the famed Aw Pottery, maker of a wide range of potteries, ceramics, jars, pots, vases and home ornamental items.
