Another unique features in Ayer Hitam is sales women or we called them nyonya sayur selling vegetables. I’m pretty sure you’ll never find this in other places. There were about 5 or 6 of them walking around the busy area of this town with packs of vegetables on both hands.
You can get a packet of tomatoes for RM2, or you might want to have 3 packets for for RM5! Great deal isn’t it? They normally choose good vegetables before packaging them. This to make sure the quality of what they sells fresh. They’ve been selling for more then 20 years. I’ve seen them since I was a little.
